In August 2010 I graduated from the Master's of Library and Information Science program at the University of Denver. I am also an Assistant Reference Librarian at the Mamie Doud Eisenhower Public Library in Colorado.
In 2005 I moved to Colorado from Minnesota to work for Up with People and loved Colorado so much that I decided to stay. The mountains and the people keep me here!
In May of 2008 I joined the Colorado Association of Libraries (CAL). Immediately I became a Continuing Education Committee member to help with developing and executing the 2008 Durango Days Workshop. After the CAL 2008 Conference, I became the Co-Chair for the CAL Continuing Education (CE) Committee. Currently, I am the Chair of the CE Committee. This is a very rewarding experience!
I do have interests outside of the library world! The Rocky Mountains are beautiful and hiking in them is the best! Live shows (music or theater) are so fun to see, especially if someone I know is involved with the show. Traveling is one of my passions. I am very fortunate to have traveled to: Israel, England, Brazil, Scotland, France, South Africa, Japan, Mexico, Canada, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Slovenia and Switzerland.
Thanks for taking time to look at my page. Please stop back -- I'll keep adding to it.
